Examination and Promotion
- The academic year has two terms- First and Second Term.
- Our School follows the rules laid down by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary School and according to the General Resolution for Promotion given from time to time.
- With the new act of Right to Free and Compulsory Education we follow all rules of promotion laid down by the Act.
- During tests and examinations, we expect honesty and self-discipline. A student who takes or gives dishonest help or indulges in unfair means will be debarred from the rest of the tests/exams or marked zero in that particular subject.
- In order to obtain distinction, 75% of the marks in the subject are required.
- For Std V to VIII there will be two examinations that is First terminal and Final and there will be continuous evaluation throughout the year for formative evaluation.
- According to the new system students of Std V to VIII will get only grades and not marks in their progress cards.
- Std IX will have two unit tests and two examinations in a year.
- Std X will have one unit test, one terminal exam and one preliminary exam before appearing in final SSC board examination.
- Student remaining absent for any test/exam needs to produce a medical certificate or any valid reason to the head of the institute.
